Zohran Mamdani’s proposal for New York City to drive down food prices by having the city run its own grocery stores is the most economically delusional thing I’ve seen in a long time.

What planet do these people live on?
New York City is about to elect a devout Communist as Mayor of New York.

Zohran Mamdani: "Running for Mayor to freeze the rent, make buses fast + free, and deliver free universal childcare. Democratic Socialist."

And don't forget the government-run grocery stores. Free is always the tool of dictators, and its fruits are always poverty, despair, and death.
